Coach Alfonzo hates the spotlight… so naturally, we wrote a whole blog post about him. 😅

Some stories deserve to be shared, even if the person behind them would rather get back to coaching.

Our latest blog, “Six Years Later,” celebrates Alfonzo Garwacki and his journey with Sol SC. Coach, you’ll just have to let us brag about you a little. 🧡

Some of the most important results of youth sports will never appear on a scoreboard. Confidence that wasn’t there before. The willingness to try again after a difficult day. The memory of a coach who believed in you.

In “Why This Matters to Me,” Sol SC CEO Richie Gray shares why a movie he’s watched many times still moves him, and what it reminds him about our responsibility to the children we coach.

It’s the opening post of Long After the Final Whistle, a series about the people and moments that make youth sports matter beyond the game.
