Mission Statement

To create a high-energy, positive training environment that motivates our athletes to the highest levels of effort and concentration, allowing them to fully maximize the individually designed athletic performance program set out for them. The program is designed to cultivate camaraderie within teams and among all Clemson athletes, so that student athletes develop a sense of acco

untability to not only their teammates but the entire athletic department. Through our pursuit of the most scientifically sound training techniques and methods, each athlete will be set up with an individualized and sport specific program that addresses strength, power, speed, agility, balance, mental conditioning, mobility and recovery. The Olympic Sport Strength and Conditioning staff at Clemson University believes that the performance training model that encompasses all of the aforementioned aspects of performance enhancement most aptly prepares student athletes for success in competition.
