The purpose of the Clemson Marksmanship club is to train Cadets and Students in proper gun operation, gun safety, and firearm care. The Club will help to train Cadets in marksmanship and improve their shooting abilities so that they will be proficient marksman and effective leaders when on the range or for some on the battlefield. Aside from rifle marksmanship the club will also stress tactics and

tactical leadership. Above all else the club will place heavy emphasis on proper firearm control, gun safety, and muzzle awareness, in order to ensure the safety of all people at the rifle range and to instill good practices into club members.

Hope you guys are having a good start to the semester so far. We're going to have our first meeting next week on Wednesday at 6pm in room 313 of the Watt Family Innovation Center. This will serve as both the interest meeting for new and potential members as well as the fall election for officer positions. Looking forward to seeing you there!
