The Crushers had a great time at the The F.A.R.M. Center Sporting Clay Event! It was the perfect day to have some fun breaking clays while supporting a local venue. Shout out to KJ for getting Top Youth Shooter & to Gavin, Jason, KJ & Kyle for earning 2nd Place Squad! Go Crushers!!

Gavin & KJ competed in the State S***t Championship today @ the Mid-Carolina Gun Club. Gavin shot a 91 and tied for 6th in the Senior/JV Disvion and KJ shot a 83 placing 7th in the Intermediate Advanced Division. Way to represent the Crushers today Gavin & KJ!!!

We are proud to feature Gavin Zimmerman in our Shooter Spotlight this week. Since joining the team last season, Gavin has been a great asset to the Oconee Crushers. His hardwork & dedication are paying off as Gavin took home HOA in the JV Disvion at the Collegiate Meet & Greet last month. We are looking forward to watching Gavin represent the Crushers in what we anticipate will be another great season for him!

In effort to get to know a bit about the talented shooters that make up the Oconee Crushers we will be featuring a weekly Shooter Spotlight.

Our first shooter is the veteran on the team, going on her 6th year shooting for the Crushers! After getting her PR in s***t at the Collegiate Meet & Greet we are excited & optimistic for a successful season ahead for her!!

Favorite Discipline to Shoot: Sporting Clays

Best Part of Being on the Oconee Crushers: Shooting with friends, doing something I love & getting to meet new people at the competitions.

Biggest Accomplishment: Growing as a shooter & getting to shoot with the Clemson team.

Goal Striving to Achieve: Shoot at least one perfect round & consistently shoot an average of 70-80.

Future Plans After High School: Go to college at Clemson, major in Special Education & shoot on the Clemson Shotgun team.

This past weekend the high school shooters had the opportunity to compete in the Collegiate Meet, Greet & Shoot event, where there were college representatives from 5 different states present. We had some some great scores posted, with three shooters hitting their PR in s***t. Special shout out to Gavin Zimmerman who shot an outstanding 96/100 in s***t, taking home 1st place in the JV Disvion!!! Great way to kick off the season. Go Crushers!
