Ladies and Gentlemen,
Thank you all for participating in the Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge this past weekend. We appreciate your ongoing support of our efforts to promote spearfishing and raise money for the charities we have chosen to support this year.
In the coming days, everyone who signed up will be receiving a survey about our event via email. In an effort to improve going forward, we would very much appreciate your feedback and hope you all will take a few minutes to fill it out as honestly and candidly as possible. All responses will be returned to us anonymously, so don’t be shy.
If you have any question, or concerns, you would like to speak to me personally about, I’ll be happy to provide my phone number in a DM.

We look forward to seeing you at the weigh in lines Today! Brings your family down to the 17th annual Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge. We have entertainment for kids and adults alike. From family games, face paint, photos opportunities with giant fish, live band, food & beverage, and our sponsors and vendors will offering various art and gifts at their tents! Weigh in will be location @ OCC Roadhouse and Museum at 10575 49th St. North, Clearwater, Florida 33762 and starts on Sunday, June 14 @ 3pm.
Join us this Sunday, June 14, at the Tampa Bay Spearfishing Challenge Awards Ceremony at OCC Road House & Museum.

Stop by the booth to donate, shop merchandise, sign up for an upcoming safety class, volunteer, or learn how you can get involved.

The awards ceremony begins at 5:00 PM, where Drake’s family will be honored to present the Top Freediver Award in memory of Drake Sweet.

Every bit of support helps us continue our mission of making freediving and spearfishing safer through education, awareness, and training. We hope to see you there! 🔱

Last min rule changes:
1. Porgy added to sheepshead category (12 in min)
2. Same category goes from 2 fish up to 3 fish total
3. Lionfish increases to 5 per person.
No change in the scoring of the added fish.

Reminders.
1. No outside alcohol. If you are caught- you are immediately disqualified from the tournament

2. No gutting fish in line. If you do, your largest fish is disqualified from weigh in.

3. Remember, there is the Lionfish trophy for most Lionfish shot

4. I If you believe you have a contender fish. You must have a picture of the stinger timestamped via Metadata prior to 8am (the data that is inbedded in the picture when you take it)

Everyone shooting the tournament, good luck, be safe, and shoot straight. We'll see you at the weigh in on Sunday. Weigh in line closes at 4pm.

When Jacques Cousteau innovated the Aqualung for scuba diving, IDEA and the FSDA played a vital role in the “unlocking” of the underwater world as it transitioned from Skin Diving to Scuba Diving.
