20 years ago today…
I feel like I have lived several lifetimes that have passed in the blink of an eye…. Many times I will paralyzed by the your memory and how much it continues to guide my thoughts and actions. Love, kindness, a reserved strength in all things were the guidelines of my upbringing. Both you and my beautiful mother used the same roadmap in raising us. I know we can, and I do romanticize our memories as time passes .. none of us are perfect. I guess I just want to express gratitude for all you have given to me… I miss you in ways that surprise me constantly…

Celebration of freedom with the family and thousands of others ..this of ours is something I am grateful to be a part of. Thank the universe that my kids were born here with the freedom to believe, love, and be who and whatever they choose.. it is my job to teach them the cost of that freedom. The personal responsibility and accountability that comes with freedom. We are blessed with the freedom and the must bear the burden with equal vigor… I saw Americans of all sorts celebrating together and more importantly our children saw and participated in this celebration 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🎆🎇🎆🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅🦅❤️❤️❤️
