DO NOT FALL FOR THE WE PLAY 7-INNING EMAIL SCAM!

I received 2 emails today from showcases advertising “7-inning games”. Well duh, all softball games are 7-innings. But they only alot 80-minutes. Only 1 travel ball game in 1,000 goes 7 innings in under 80 minutes. They NEVER mention their times limits because they are trying to trick you.

Don’t fall for it! DEMAND time to play 7 innings or play in events with 2 hour time limits.

Don’t believe me? Ask a college coach if they prefer 2 hour games. It gives them more time to evaluate players and are more at bats.

Who offers that?? We do!

It is supposed to be about the players and the college coaches! Not the TD!!

All 2028 and beyond recruits need to read this from one of the best to ever play the game!

It’s September 1st for the Class of 2028 recruits!

Today marks the first day college softball coaches can begin contacting many players in the class of 2028.

For some athletes, today will bring calls and dreams beginning to unfold.

For others, today might feel quiet. If that’s you, don’t let silence make you question your value.

Run your race.
Don’t compare.

It’s okay to step away from social media today, this week, month, or even year- if that’s what your heart needs.

Hebrews 12:1 reminds us, Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, for you!

Keep showing up, keep growing, keep trusting.

The right opportunity in the right time is worth waiting for. You’re not behind. Keep your eyes on Him, trust the process, and know that He is writing a story greater than you can imagine. His ways are highest!

Registration is now open for the South's Longest Running Showcase. Since 2006, coaches from the SEC, ACC, Big 10, Sun Belt, Peach Belt, D2, D3, NAIA, JUCO, and NCCSA have all attended. This is THE best place to end the Fall Season. And NOW, you play more complete games and innings than at ANY showcase in America! Come see what all the talk is about!

Before you sign up for ANY showcase offering 4 or 5 games or money, ask them, "What are your time limits?" They won't tell you on their flyer because they don't want you to ask so they can cheat you out of innings you pay for. A game is 7 innings, and/or at least 2 hours to play into the 7th. Anything less should NOT be acceptable.

There IS another choice!

Travel Teams asked for more Southern Star events!
College coaches asked for more Southern Star events!

120 minutes is the new standard for time limits in showcases. If your showcase games are shorter, your team is being cheated out of innings, and college coaches are losing valuable evaluation time for your players!

STOP ACCEPTING LESS THAN 120 minutes and/or 7 innings! You don't have to play in Southern Star Showcases, but then don't complain when colleges don't have time to watch your team play either.

Special Introductory offer - Play in both of these events for $2,000. Register through USA Elite Select/USSSA before August 15. 38 Team maximum for each of these events.
