Little, Casher, Gordon and Shaffner new Hidden Valley Winners
June 5, 2026
Clearfield, PA - Four of the five winners who graced victory lane on Friday night, did so for the first time this season at Hidden Valley Speedway, with Gary Little of Clearfield copping the Semi Late Model main, Craig Casher of Mineral Springs returned to his winning way after picking up the 2025 point title in the class, Benny Gordon of DuBois picked up the win in the Penn Ohio Pro Stocks and it was Shilo’s Ryan Shaffner winning the Pure Stock feature.
The only repeat winner on the night was Allen Robison of Clearfield who took his second straight Four Cylinder feature.
Dylan Fenton and Gary Little brought the Semi Late Feature to Sam McClellan's green flag, with Fenton winning the drag race into the first turn. Fenton and Little were side-by-side off the second turn, with Little taking the lead in turns three and four, and setting the pace. A few cautions early slowed the action with one being a hard impact into an infield tire for Fenton, ending his night. This moved John Wayne Weaver into second and he threw everything he had at Little, but could not reel in the leader. When the double checkered flags waved it was Little getting his first win of the season over Weaver. Craig Bainey came from sixth to third, Doug Surra was fourth and Justin Owens was fifth. Heat wins went to Fenton and Little.
Craig Casher and Levi Picard led the Small Block Modified feature to the green flag, with Casher shooting into the lead and he never looked back. Early on Picard was giving Casher some serious pressure, but he had to pit with a flat tire on lap five and had to tail the field when he returned to the track. Casher was still in the lead, with his brother, Aaron now in second, but as the green waved, Craig began opening up a nice lead and eventually ended up winning by a straightaway over Aaron Casher, Kyle Holden, Picard and Chris Luzier completed the top five. Craig Casher won the heat.
Penn Ohio Pro Stock heat winners Mitch Stiles and Benny Gordon led the field to the start, with Gordon shooting into the lead at the start, when a caution waved. On the restart, it was Gordon staying in the lead and Stiles in second, with Fuzzy Fields and Brandon Connor swapping third several times a lap, but when those double checkered flags flew, it was Gordon getting the win, over Stiles, Fields, Connor and Rich Howell.
The Pure Stocks saw Ryan Shaffner and Luke Vranda bring the Pure Stocks to McClellan’s green flag, with Shaffner taking the lead and Vranda in second with sixth place starter Eric Lucas moving into third early. On a lap three restart, Lucas used the outside to pull along side of Shaffner and to take second from Vranda, but he could not hold onto the lead, as Shaffner had the right set up. The rest of the 15 lapper went non-stop, as Shaffner went on to grab his first win of the season over Lucas, Josh Bloom, Vranda and Cory Price. Lucas and Vranda won the heats.
Eric Luzier and Draven Reid led the Four Cylinders to the green flag, and Reid was leading going into the first turn, but he never came out of the second turn, as he was involved in a crash that would end his night. On the restart, Isaac Exley was able to line up on the front row, after Reid was out, and he was able to get the jump on Luzier from his outside starting spot. Exley was fast and he was setting the pace, when Allen Robison came from the fourth spot and began to pressure Exley. Exley and Robison were often side by side but Exley was still able to hold on to the lead, then working lap eight, disaster struck for Exley, he drifted high in turn two and faded to the pits with a broken axle, this gave the lead to Robison, who cruised on to get his second straight win. Luzier held on to second over Greg Snell, Greg Kiehl and Scott Robison. Luzier and Reid won the heats.
