Hey all, Lizzie here—the new Program Director! If you didn’t know, we’re having a Fall Family Festival at the Clearfield YMCA on October 10-11, 2026! We would love to have you there! We’ve got a full day on Saturday—Our Annual Pumpkin Swim in the morning and our Battle of the Bands in the afternoon/evening! On Sunday, we’re planning a potluck and Family Music Bingo!

We were generously gifted not one but TWO Kala Brand Music ukuleles and gig bags for our Battle of the Bands, amongst other cool prizes!

Come, be part of the hype! Maybe make a Zine and see some live music. Keep an eye out for more information!

Our final field trip of the summer was one to remember! 🦁🐯🦒

Our summer camp kiddos wrapped up an amazing summer with a trip to the Pittsburgh Zoo! We had so much fun exploring, seeing all the incredible animals, and learning so many new things. Even the rain couldn’t stop us from making memories! 🌧️🐘❤️

We truly cannot thank our amazing sponsors enough for making experiences like this possible for our students. Because of your generosity and support, our campers have been able to enjoy educational and exciting field trips throughout the summer at no additional cost to our families.

🎸 BANDS WANTED! 🎸

It’s official—we’re looking for bands for the Clearfield YMCA’s very first Battle of the Bands on Saturday, October 10!

This is the first time we’ve ever done anything like this—and we really want the community to be part of it. Whether you’re a seasoned group or just getting started, we want to hear you.

All genres are welcome. All skill levels are welcome. If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to get on a stage… this is it.

We’re working hard to make this more than just a competition. Think cool prizes, media exposure, and some awesome opportunities for participating musicians and winners. We also have some great support coming in from the local music community that we can’t wait to share soon.

Our summer camp kiddos have been making unforgettable memories over the past few weeks! ☀️

From an exciting Safety Day at the Clearfield Fire Station, to learning how a bank operates during our tour of CNB Bank, cheering on the Altoona Curve at the ballpark, and enjoying a fun-filled story time with Mid Penn Bank, every adventure has been an opportunity to learn, explore, and grow.

We've had an amazing summer, and we couldn't be more grateful to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to invest in our campers. Your kindness, support, and willingness to share your knowledge have made a lasting impact on our kids. Thank you for helping make this summer one to remember!
