🏁 DAY 1 IS IN THE BOOKS — UMI KING OF THE MOUNTAIN 2026 🏁

125 of the nation's best autocross and Pro-Touring drivers hit the hill at UMI Motorsports Park today, and the times were STACKED.

🔥 FASTEST OF THE DAY: Simon Gagnon ( #31, 2004 Subaru STI) laid down a blistering 44.656 in Super Late — quickest lap of the entire field.

Class Leaders after Day 1:
🟠 Early — Ron Scott, #78 '78 Corvette — 46.263
🟡 Mid — Mike Casino, #149 '88 Monte Carlo SS — 46.425
🟢 Late — Ken Houseal, #94 '22 Subaru BRZ — 45.172
🔵 Super Late — Simon Gagnon, #31 '04 Subaru STI — 44.656

Just 0.075 separates 1st and 2nd in Super Late (Cody Hunt, #76 '17 Corvette, 44.731) — and Eric Peachey ( #93 '08 Viper) is lurking at 44.952. This one's going down to the wire.

The field now narrows to the TOP 48 for Saturday's Shootout Under the Lights, where $10,000 and the King of the Mountain crown are on the line. 🏆
