The left it all on the field tonight against Smithsburg in the first round of playoffs, but we were unable to snag the victory. Unfortunately, we lost 5-1 which brings our season to a close. While the loss stings, we did some great things during the game. Grace Vizcaya scored the Blazers goal, and our defense pulled Smithburg offside at least 5 times during the game!
The season didn't end how we had hoped, but the coaches hope the players will focus on the achievements we had throughout the season, as well ad the fun we had and memories we made. Wins and losses are easily forgotten over the years, but the memories and relationships are what stick with us.
Thank you for a memorable season!! Take what you can from this season, and use it to build for next year! To our seniors: thank you for your leadership this season. Best wishes on your next adventure, and be sure to keep in touch with the team and continue to encourage them! 🙌♥️
