RARELY in life do you come across that person who is truly kind, caring, and giving, for no reason other than just being a good person. This is just one more reason (of MANY) why I love our gun range. Lori participated this weekend in Women on Target. Her participation was very very minimal, as she was diagnosed with MS last November. Once an avid shooter, she has not shot a pistol since last November due to balance issues. This weekend she actually won, one of the two pistols that were given away at the Women on Target event. More importantly, she had the wonderful privilege of meeting the gentleman who so generously donated those pistols, along with everything needed to shoot. With her and Ralph’s permission, I would like to recognize Ralph Madison. Thank you so much for helping to make this event EXTRA special. WOW… what an AWESOME day at the range today, for the Women on Target event! I wasn’t able to get as many pictures taken, as I was asked to help on the short range, so I do apologize for not getting all the stations in the pics. A HUGE shoutout to ALL who make events like this possible! Perfect weather, great food, awesome prizes, and a group of people having fun, that’s what it’s all about ❤️

Today was a great example of one of many reasons I joined the River City Rifle and Pistol Club, and that reason, is TEAMWORK! Does that mean we all agreed on every single aspect of the project? Absolutely not lol, but TEAMWORK is about putting differences aside, to come together to accomplish the task at hand. Range improvements were made to the 50 yard range and short range to make it a safer environment for EVERYONE to enjoy! And just in time for next weekend’s Women On Target event! Our club operates on the hard work of the members that volunteer their time to improve THEIR club. Whether it’s Trap, Highpower shoots, Action pistol events, Rimfire shoot, or awesome events like Women On Target, just remember, these are all possible because of our members who volunteer their time to make this a great club! Thanks to ALL who share their talents to better our club!!!
