Another great day at the range!! I just want to throw this out there to anyone who is wondering if there really is any advantage to joining the RCRP Club. I’ve been shooting guns for nearly 50 years, but I began the journey of becoming a “shooter” just a few short months ago, AFTER becoming a member of RCRP Club. Let me explain the difference. I’ve been a duck, goose, pheasant, grouse, coyote, and deer hunter for most of those 50 years. Self taught mostly, and tid bits of advice here and there, just enough to be an ethical hunter. Even though it was adequate for what I was doing, I wasn’t really a shooter. SINCE joining the RCRP Club, I’ve met so many people who are approachable, and more than willing to teach. With a gentle nudge from my good friend Steve, I’m now learning to hand load my own ammo. I joined the group shooting Rimfire on Thursday evenings. I ask a lot of questions, and have learned so much in the last 6 months. Am I the best shooter? Nope, not even close, but I’m learning so much, and even had to relearn some basics. But I am improving all the time, thanks to the awesome group of people I’ve encountered so far at the club. A HUGE SHOUTOUT to each and every one of you. So if you’re wondering if it’s worth it to join….ABSOLUTELY!
