ATTENTION - PSA FOR SATURDAY:
The DNR will be enforcing all relevant rules, including but not limited to:
🔘 All side-by-sides, UTVs, ATVs, etc. MUST have current registration.
** ALSO SEE BELOW FOR INFO FROM THE CITY OF CLEAR LAKE ***
🔘 If you are riding around two-up on a snowmobile, that snowmobile must be equipped for two-up riding.
🔘 Any rider under the age of 16 must be in visual/audible contact of an adult at all times. Please don't send your under-16-year-old out to ride around or practice on their own - they may be allowed to do that at home, but this isn't home.
🔘 If you plan to ride any snowmobile around the lake, you must have a current Iowa trail pass. (There is an exception for race sleds that do not leave the event area.)
Remember, the DNR makes the rules and they get to enforce them. We couldn't put on this event without their cooperation, so please be respectful of them, be respectful of our staff, and just HAVE FUN!
***FROM THE CITY OF CLEAR LAKE:
🔘ATV’s are not legal to drive in the City of Clear Lake and may not be driven on city streets during the event or any other time of the year.
🔘UTV’s must have a valid DNR registration and a valid City of Clear Lake registration sticker (permit) to be operated on any city street.
All ordinances are found on the city’s website for anyone to review.
Editor's note: Since most of you will be arriving after hours tonight or tomorrow, we assume you won't have an opportunity to get the required city permit. Please just plan to leave your UTV on the lake. If needed for convenience, you can park it on the lake near, but not on the approach, and then walk downtown from there.
Any questions, please contact us, or reach out to Clear Lake, Iowa directly. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
