🚨 BIG ANNOUNCEMENT…

Sometimes God asks us to take a step that doesn’t make sense on paper… but makes perfect sense in faith.

Over the past several months, we have felt Him leading us to let go of the things we’ve been holding onto and prepare the road for what He has next.

So we’ve made a decision.

We’ve been giving away our belongings, simplifying our lives, and preparing to go wherever God opens the next door.

This isn’t about losing things.
It’s about making room for something bigger than ourselves.

Our heart is to build Build A Game For Life into a ministry that reaches families and communities through the things we know and love.

⛳ Golf tournaments that build character.
🪵 Woodworking workshops that teach life skills.
🎣 Fly fishing camps that create conversations and lasting relationships.
❤️ Mentorship, faith, family, and community woven into everything we do.

Our mission has never been about winning trophies.

It’s about winning hearts.

If this vision resonates with you, we’d love for you to become part of the journey.

You can:
• Pray for us.
• Share this message with someone who needs hope.
• Volunteer your time or talents.
• Partner with us financially so we can continue building programs that impact lives.

Every gift—large or small—helps us reach another family, another child, another community.

If your heart is stirring, we’d be honored to have you walk this journey with us.

Visit BuildAGameForLife.org to learn more, donate, or get involved.

Together, let’s build something that lasts for generations.

Fear is one of the biggest reasons golfers leave the ball in the bunker.

If you’re committed, commit all the way. Attack the sand with confidence, accelerate through the shot, and trust the club to do its job. The difference between success and failure in a bunker often isn’t technique—it’s commitment.

Don’t be afraid to get after it. Confidence creates better swings, better contact, and better results.

⛳ Play bold. Trust your swing. Get the ball out on the first try.

🔥 Struggling around the greens? It might not be your technique—it could be your setup.

One simple adjustment can make a huge difference in your consistency.

✅ Move the handle slightly forward.
✅ Play the ball back in your stance.
✅ Stand a little taller.
✅ Let the club rest more on the toe instead of the heel.

This setup helps reduce digging, improves contact, and gives you better distance control on those delicate chip shots. Keep it simple, trust the motion, and let the club do the work.

Great chipping isn’t about fancy technique—it’s about solid fundamentals repeated over and over.

Maintain the triangle created by your arms and elbows, keeping everything connected to your body as you rotate through the shot. When your arms and body work together, you’ll strike the ball more consistently, improve your contact, and gain better control over both direction and distance. Simple fundamentals lead to lasting results.

⛳ Build great habits. Trust the process. Consistency always beats complexity.

My 6-year-old son and his amazing footwork! 🤪⛳️

Look out, Scottie! 😄

This is what golf is all about—having fun, learning, laughing, and building a love for the game one swing at a time. No pressure, no perfect technique… just a young golfer enjoying every moment.

Sometimes the best lessons happen when we simply let kids be kids.

Who’s introducing the next generation to this great game? ⛳❤️

🏌️‍♂️ Why do you keep pulling the golf ball left?

One of the biggest reasons is that your body stops turning through impact. When your hips stall, your hands take over, the clubface closes too quickly, and the ball starts left of your target.

✅ Keep your hips turning through the shot.
✅ Let the club release naturally toward the target.
✅ Match your body rotation with the club’s release.

A good release isn’t about flipping your hands—it’s about letting your body keep moving so the club can swing freely through impact.

Trust me… it’s not always your swing. Sometimes it’s your sequence.

🌱 Getting Healthy Starts One Choice at a Time

I’m making a few simple changes to support my health, and one of them is adding pumpkin seeds to my daily routine. They’re packed with magnesium, zinc, healthy fats, fiber, and plant-based protein—great nutrients that support overall wellness.

For me, this journey is about getting back to the basics:
✅ Eating whole foods
✅ Moving my body every day
✅ Staying hydrated
✅ Getting quality sleep
✅ Taking care of my mind, body, and spirit

Health isn’t built overnight. It’s built one good decision at a time.

What’s one healthy habit you’re adding this week?

🎯 Want Better Distance Control From 60 Yards?

Most golfers think a great wedge shot is all about feel. In reality, it’s built on solid fundamentals.

Today I’m dialing in my 60-yard wedge shot with a few simple keys:

✅ Keep the club moving down the target line as long as possible.
✅ Stay patient with the tempo—don’t rush the transition.
✅ Create a solid impact position.
✅ Let the club release naturally through the ball.
✅ Keep your hands and the clubface working together through impact for consistent contact and distance control.

You don’t need a perfect swing—you need a repeatable one.

The closer you get to the green, the more important precision becomes. Spend time mastering your wedges, and you’ll save strokes faster than almost anywhere else in your game.

Trust me… it’s not your swing. It’s your system.

⚡ Don’t Let People Steal Your Energy

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is this: not everyone deserves access to your energy.

Some people will encourage you. Others will criticize you. Some will believe in your vision, while others will tell you why it can’t be done.

Don’t hand over your peace, your purpose, or your passion because someone else can’t see what you see.

Protect your mindset. Stay focused on your calling. Surround yourself with people who challenge you to grow, not people who constantly pull you backward.

Your energy is one of your greatest assets. Invest it in your faith, your family, your health, and the work God has placed in front of you.

Keep building. Keep serving. Keep moving forward.

Winning hearts, not trophies.

Feeling zapped? Low on energy? You’re not alone.

One thing I’ve learned—in golf and in life—is that you don’t have to push harder every single day. Sometimes your greatest strength is knowing when to rest, recover, and reset. Your body needs it. Your mind needs it. Your game needs it.

That’s why I love what Bridgestone has done with the MindSet golf ball. Golf is played as much between your ears as it is with your swing. The visual MindSet reminds you to slow down, focus on your target, commit to your shot, and trust your process before every swing.

It’s more than a golf ball—it’s a reminder that great performance begins with a clear mind.

If you’re looking to play better golf, start by improving your mindset. The results might surprise you.
