THURSTON FAMILY RACING WELCOMES HENRY CONSTRUCTION AND SANDERS MOTORSPORTS FOR SUPER DIRT WEEK 54
With Super DIRT Week 54 less than one week away, Thurston Family Racing is happy to announce the support of Henry Construction and Sanders Motorsports.
Henry Construction, located in Clayton, NY and is owned by brothers Josh and Greg Henry. Lee and Cheryl Sanders (Sanders Motorsports) have been friends with the Thurston family for many years, dating back to when they used to drive up to the Can-Am Speedway, from their home in Shortsville, NY to compete. Lee has competed in dirt modifieds and sprint cars over the years and now gets his racing in with the Classic Asphalt Modified Series. This past summer, Thurston Family Racing worked with Lee and Cheryl on a go-kart program, to give younger kids the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a go-kart in competition.
We would like to thank Henry Construction and Sanders Motorsports for joining us, as we head to the Oswego Speedway for next week's Super DIRT Week 54.
Greg currently sits 14th in overall DIRTcar Northeast Sportsman Series standings and coming off some of our best races of the season, we hope to carry some of that momentum into Super DIRT Week. With over 80 cars pre-registered, it will take a solid time trial effort and qualifying race to get into the 75 lap feature on Saturday night.
