McGuffey’s season came to an end last night as the Highlanders lost a hard fought game against Seton LaSalle 62-50. McGuffey finishes with a record of 15-8. We would like to thank players, coaches, and parents for all of their hard work and support this season.

McGuffey takes on Seton Lasalle in the first round of the WPIAL playoffs Friday 8:00 at Trinity. We got a close location. Let’s make it a home style crowd! Come out and support these guys, they have worked so hard!

McGuffey defeats section leader Charleroi 51-39. With a great defensive effort, the Highlanders move to 15-5 (8-3). CJ Cole led all scorers w/ 24 pts. Ethan Janovich added 16 pts. Your Highlanders are back in action Thursday at home vs Washington in a boys/girls doubleheader.

McGuffey beats Beth Center 67-62 to improve to 14-5 (7-3) on the year. CJ Cole led all scorers w/ 41 pts & 13 rebounds. Nick Dinka & Ethan Janovich each added 10 pts. 🏀🔥

McGuffey (13-4) beats Frazier 60-48. With the win, the Highlanders qualify for the WPIAL playoffs for just the 5th time in school history. Congratulations to CJ Cole for passing 1,431 career pts making him the McGuffey boys All-Time leading scorer (Seth Hunter, 2003).

McGuffey defeats Beth Center 47-31 in a great defensive effort. McGuffey improves to 10-2 (3-0) and is back in action Monday at home vs. Southmoreland. 🏀

McGuffey 9-1 (2-0) moves on to the Championship game in the Avella Christmas Tournament w/ a W over Chartiers Houston 64-50. 🏀🎄CJ Cole had 22 pts & 10 rebounds. Nathan Witkowsky scored a career high 20 pts. Josiah Newton added 9 pts. The Championship game is 12/30 at 7:30.

After dropping a close game in the first round of the KSA tournament Orlando, McGuffey bounces back with a 68-43 win over St. Augustine (TX). CJ Cole led with 24 pts and 11 rebounds. Josiah Newton went a perfect 9/9 and scored a career high 18 pts. Nathan Witkowsky added 11.
