After several years and many hung heads leaving empty handed, we were finally able to conquer this farm! Check out this awesome hunt where Dalton Campbell and Doug Mills got it done in a big way! Congrats to both of you on a job well done!

Until next time, get out in the woods and remember, take a child every chance you get! Memories like these are hard to come by and teaching them young is the only way to build a passion for the great outdoors!

I know there hasn’t been many updates on my page or site lately. That is mainly due to my attention being required elsewhere (family, school, work,…..)

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their support over the last year! March 12th marked one year since launching my page and Website. When I decided to start making calls, I started with a goal. My Goal was to make 10 calls before the start of spring gobbler season and 25 before the end of my first year. Well thanks to you all and the encouragement that I have received, I crushed those goals! I am not 100% sure on the numbers but I know the first year, I produced very close to 85 calls! Just ask my wife! Without her support, none of this would have been possible either. She did a lot for me while I spent hours and hours in our basement “making a mess” (as my daughter would say) just so I could pursue this passion of mine!

Anyway, thanks everyone for all of your support over the last year and I look forward to what the future holds for CHUMHURST CUSTOM CALLS!!! Good luck to everyone this season! Be safe, and take a child out into our great outdoors every chance you get!

Not the best pictures in the world of the call but this was made from a piece of our left over Corian countertop. I'll post some more pictures of it later. Crystal over slate and can be played on either side.
