Hate to burst the bubble, but if you’re approaching 40, in your 40s, or wondering why your body suddenly feels like it’s gone rogue… it’s probably time to learn what’s ACTUALLY happening.

I’m putting together a VIRTUAL book club for women reading The New Perimenopause by Dr. Mary Claire Haver. It’s an incredible book. Science-heavy? Yep. But also eye-opening, validating, and information we should have had years ago. Better yet, information our mama's should have had.

So we’re going to break it down together.
One chapter at a time.
Real conversation.
Real questions.

Starts: 2nd week of June
Virtual meetings from the comfort of your couch
Pajamas absolutely encouraged
No cost other than grabbing the book

Nobody gets excited about blood work.

But in midlife, understanding what's happening inside your body can help us reach your goals in the gym.

And no — hormones aren't always the whole picture.

Sometimes it's hormones.
Sometimes it's stress, recovery, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, cholesterol, blood sugar, thyroid function… or a combination of things.

That's why learning more about your body matters. That's why finding a menopause-informed practitioner is a great start.

Because sometimes progress isn't about working harder.
Sometimes it's about getting more information.

Apparently these are the important questions that you must ask your trainer. 🤣🎤

But for real, your trainer's personality matters! If we are going to spend all that time talking about strength, health, hormones and why your knees suddenly make noises when you get off the floor, we need to be compatible and comfortable.

And yes... gym music tells me everything I need to know about a person. 😉
