On this polyester thread thing, not only does fish hawk use poly in there metallic but you can get it stronger then nylon. I bought a roll, 3000 yards long of heavy duty, UV resistance thread #69 T70 size/3ply for $4.53. That’s more then almost anyone would use for the price of a 100 yard roll. It does require that you use color preserver. I tested it on a white rod with some black spots. The tread without the color preserver was almost clear and the black dots showed up but the test sight with CP was covered completely and no spots showed thru. What a savings of money. 3000 yards for the price of a 100 yards.
