To see the volleyball growth in the Clarksville area over the last 21 years has been so rewarding to me personally.

Today Clarksville Volleyball Club had 3 teams finish the top 20 in their respective age groups and divisions at a USAV National Qualifier in Atlanta Georgia! 🍑

17 Jenny R - tied 9th out of 73 teams
17 American Blue, Gold Bracket🏅

15 Charlsie - tied 9th out of 84 teams
15 American Blue, Gold Bracket🏅

16 Liz - tied 17th out of 87 teams

Big South

Juliet was a great leader all weekend. She never stopped communicating on the court and did everything to keep the morale of the team high even when competition was tough. Her defense was stellar. At crucial times she would step up to the plate and go on a serving run. She had four aces and two errors on 18 attempts.

Taryn showed outstanding effort and resilience on the court this weekend. She stayed coachable, stayed locked in during rallies and played tough defense throughout each match. Her energy shown through as she celebrated big blocks with her teammates. Even after a tough play, she bounced back strong earning key points for her team. Taryn finished with 11 kills on 46 attempts and an impressive nine solo blocks for points, highlighting her impact at the net and her ability to respond in big moments.

Big South

Kayla earned Player Highlight at the Atlanta Big South tournament with her all-around impact as a middle, stepping into the back row after serving and delivering outstanding defense. She showed excellent ball control and continued effort, never giving up on a play. What stood out most was her consistently positive attitude, staying composed and uplifting her team whether we were winning or losing. I’m really proud of her growth both on and off the court!

Alex was the heart of our defense all weekend at the Big South tournament, anchoring the back row as our libero and rarely leaving the court. After breaking her finger on the second day, she showed incredible toughness and grit by continuing to play without complaint. Her consistency in serve receive and relentless defensive effort make her an invaluable teammate and an MVP for our team!

It’s never easy to spotlight just a couple of players when this team shows up and plays as one—but Brooklyn and Lucia truly delivered standout performances this weekend, leading the team to a 1st place finish in the 15U bracket.

Brooklyn was unstoppable on the right side, stacking up 20 kills and executing her signature cut shot to perfection. On defense, she was just as dominant—shutting down outside hitters with an impressive 6 stuff blocks.

Lucia elevated the entire offense, totaling 276 sets and an incredible 65 assists. She helped anchor the back row with 49 digs and kept the other team’s serve receive off balance with 11 aces.

This victory was the result of a complete team effort. So proud of this team’s grit, chemistry, and hard work on and off the court.

Amazing job, Brooklyn, Lucia, and 14 Jaime!!

Ti’Onya settled back into her new role as middle blocker. She jumped back into her position aggressively blocking while getting multiple blocks per game and challenging other teams’ hitters as well as getting multiple kills per game. She has been a workhorse performing at a high level for the team, playing any position requested of her!

Hannah and Xenia were pivotal to our Gold Bracket placement this weekend!

Hannah placed her serves and attacks with deadly precision, finishing with: 8 aces, 19 digs, and 9 kills.

Xenia stepped into a new position with fierce determination. She served absolute fireballs and dominated the back row, adding: 7 aces and 24 digs.

The communication and teamwork were outstanding all weekend—so proud of this team!
