Reminder: 3rd- 6th Practice Thursday 5:00 - 6:30pm.

Saturday will be our fall season ending fun day! We will have small gym from 8:00- 10:00am!
Family and friends are welcome to come and can play if they would like!

Our players will get to wear jerseys again and have picture taken if they couldn't make last Sat!

We were unable to secure another team to scrimmage this coming Saturday, BUT we have a back up plan!!

We will be having a family welcome practice after team pictures. Pictures will be from 8:00- 8:30. And practice 8:30-9:30 in small gym.

We have City Rec volleyball jerseys! The girls can wear a tank/desired undershirt and black shorts, leggings, or sweatpants and we will take a personal pic of each child and a team picture.
Pictures will be digital only and free and I'll send you your athletes pics to do as you wish!

We will have our practice in Jerseys after pics!

Note: We will have normal practice this Thursday (10/12) as well!

Due to Fall softball league we were unable to secure a scrimmage for this coming Saturday, October 7th. Therefore, we will not have volleyball on Saturday. We will still practice this Thursday!

But, we have secured Oct 21st with North Butler at Clarksville! More information to come as soon as we have it.

What a great 2 days of Volleyball! Huge thanks to Kalani Mahi and CIA Volleyball for putting on a great skills clinic! We had almost 40 girls from 3rd- 8th Grade at clinic and although it was warm, it was a very successful 2 days! Thanks to the Clarksville City Rec for supporting this opportunity!
Best luck to all athletes on the 2023 Volleyball season!!

Our Youth volleyball clinic is still on for tonight and Tuesday evening! We will be in the west (elementry/middle school) gym both days! Be sure to bring water!

We are soo excited to announce an amazing opportunity for our youth athletes!

Special guest and one of the best, Kalani Mahi, will be joining Clarksville Tribe Volleyball on the court for 2 days of fun and action filled volleyball!

Although he has Hawaiian roots, Kalani was born in Mt Ayr, IA. He has a wealth of collegiate and international coaching experience. Prior to joining the UNI Panthers staff in 2004, Kalani served as head coach at the University of Oklahoma in the Big 12 Conference.

He also has previous experience in the Missouri Valley Conference, serving as head coach at Bradley University (1995-98), where he guided the Braves to three consecutive MVC tournament appearances and posted the school's most ever wins for a rookie coach. Mahi has also served as an assistant coach at Bradley (1992-95) and Illinois State (1998-2000).

A graduate of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, Mahi was a collegiate club All-American, as well as team captain for the Yellowjackets. He later played and coached professionally overseas. Mahi also worked for USA Volleyball National Development Camps in Lamoni, Iowa, for 12 years as a head coach, court coach and camp clinician. He has a USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation (CAP) Level II Certification.

After spending his final 15 coaching years with UNI under Bobbi Petersen, Kalani is now retired from collegiate coaching. He and his wife Chris still run the elite level volleyball club, CIA, out of Waterloo, IA.

We are SOOOOO excited to have him in our gym!!! :)
