We are currently testing the 9000 series Protek batteries.

We are also currently testing the Excelerate and BSR tires for next season. 2027-2028 season after the snowbirds.
If anyone needs CRC tires for this season, please comment/reply or reach out to us. We know several people that still have new and used sets they are willing to sell.
If you have a new or used set you would like to sell message us and we will post it for you.

What a great race! Thank you for having the Spec10 Mafia back to the Firecracker. 8 or 9 years now for the Spec10s at the Firecracker. Hands down the best summer race around. Congratulations to Tim Minteer for the TQ and Win. Puts him in the running for the Championship belt. Two races down and more to go. Congratulations to the runners up. The new Protek Stock Spec battery will be adopted for the 2026-2027 Spec10 Championships session. Both the 8800mAh and the 8000mAh will be legal for this season.
After talking to the manufacturer the 8800 will be discontinued sometime in 2026. We opted to get a head of that and allow the new battery for this season.
We wasn’t able to do a lot of testing but there is a couple of differences the first is the new battery has 5mm bullet connector and polarity is switched, + and - is flipped compared to the old battery, so don’t let the magic smoke out of your ESC!

Wayne Blanton, Bob Hillerich, and
Paul Gardner were in contention for the championship belt, each having a strong chance of winning. The competition concluded with Paul Gardner and Bob Hillerich tied in points and TQ, but Paul Gardner took the lead with one more win. The key to winning the points championship is hard work and dedication, which these three competitors have consistently demonstrated. Stay tuned for more information on the upcoming season, including locations, races, and rule changes.

Congratulations Jeremy McCormick for TQ and running an awesome race clean from wire to wire. Great run! That car was moving! Bob Hillerich had a fast car, but one crash slowed him down and he just couldn’t get back to Jeremy. Another fine Spec10 race.

We are on our way to the season, finale of the Spec10 2025-2026 championship season. Looking like we have 3 possible contenders for the belt. Paul Gardner AKA the Godfather, Wayne Blanton AKA the Captain, and Bob Hillrich AkA The Butcher.
Who will be the winner, who will design their own Belt.
