We canât think of a better way to kick off 4 Weeks for $69 than by sharing a little Burn inspiration! đ
Meet Rikki and read about her journey below. đ December of 2023, I walked into Burn BootCamp Clarksville and signed up on the spot. I didnât do the three-day trial. I didnât really know what I was walking into. I knew a few friends who attended, but beyond that, I had no expectations. I just knew that I needed to find myself again and for whatever reason, Burn was the place I chose to do it.
At the time, I was completely running on empty. I had just lost my mom. My husband was constantly gone on TDYs and deployments. I had a one-year-old and a four-year-old at home. I had recently left the job I thought I would have for the rest of my life so I could take care of my mom. My entire world had changed, and somewhere in the middle of taking care of everyone else, I had completely lost touch with myself. I had spent my entire life being an athlete. I played softball all the way through college and continued my fitness journey long after that. I had even created and led womenâs groups to help moms get back into shape. Fitness had always been a huge part of who I was.
But suddenly, the thing I had once loved more than anything felt almost impossible to do.
I was so focused on making sure everyone elseâs cup was full that I didnât realize how empty mine had become.
I didnât know how to show up for those women anymore. More importantly, I didnât know how to show up for myself. So I took a step back, and I walked into Burn.
I made one promise to myself: I would show up and push myself every single day. That was it. I wasnât there to prove anything to anyone. I wasnât there to chase a number on a scale. I wasnât there because I thought I needed to become someone different. I was there to find the person I had lost. Some days, showing up was easy. Other days, it was the hardest thing I could do. But I kept making the choice to walk through those doors. I kept putting in the work. And little by little, something changed. I started getting stronger, not just physically, but mentally. I started believing in myself again.
