Saw this on a MI gun owners group and felt it was a good post for everyone to see.
Something fun you can do at the range...
At one of my training classes, my instructor told the story of an incident at a Texas Church. During the middle of a sermon, a deranged person decided to open fire with 250+ people in attendance. Jack Wilson waited for the a crowd to get out of his line of sight and with one shot, from 50 feet, downed the attacker with a head shot from his pistol. So I started a new test for myself when I go to the range. At the end of my time, I leave one round set aside. From 50 feet, I get one shot, no mulligans. Last weeks shot shown here wasn't exactly as close as I would like to be. However, If the tip of my nose is on the bullseye, the shot went between the eyes so I'll take it as a win for the week. This will never be as intense as what Jack went through obviously but when your mind knows you only have one shot and you place that much importance on that shot, it helps raise that intensity to a different level as its not just another shot in the mag.
Have fun.
