Dave's Golf Shop humble beginning dates back to 1988 when Dave decided he and his wife wanted to be fitted for custom clubs to improve their game. They spent a large sum of money on their custom clubs and found that their golf game became increasingly worse after playing several rounds with them. Knowing that something must be wrong, Dave made a few phone calls to people he knew that were very kno

wledgeable about golf and golf equipment and started asking lots of questions.....lots. The answers to his questions lead him to the purchase of several technical books on the subject of golf club building and fitting. He soon found out his recently purchased custom clubs were built with the wrong shaft flex, the wrong length, and the lie angles were all off skew. Within the next year Dave acquired dozens more technical books and absorbed everything he didn't know about the subject of club making. His new curiosity led him to build clubs on the side in addition to his day job. But his interest soon became a passion and by 1990 Dave started building clubs for local golf courses and people from around the region. In 2003, Callaway asked Dave's Golf Shop in Colton to be their fitting center for the area which led other major golf manufacturers to follow suit. In 2014, with business booming, they were approached with an opportunity to expand down in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley. Dave spent months renovating the pro-shop and grounds to meet his standards of excellence. With new equipment and a completely redone shop area, they had their official Grand Opening April 25th, 2015.

Someone took a club like the one pictured above out of Marlon’s fitting bag and we would like it back. We are going over the security footage to find out exactly when it was taken. We are sure it was an honest mistake but in any case we need it back. If you have the club please just bring it back.
