Clarksburg Town Center Tiger Sharks Home of the Clarksburg Tiger Sharks swim team! The summer of 2011 marks the fulfillment of this dream!

It all started with the dream of creating a summer swim team as a way for the Clarksburg community to gain an even stronger bond with one another. A dream where our kids can have a positive outlet in which they will strive to get better not just at swimming, but as individuals. Where they not only get faster at swimming and compete in this glorious sport, but more importantly, where they can make friends and have a fun time doing something that they love! We are a brand new start up swim team who created this wonderful organization with one goal in mind: To positively affect the lives of our children! Through not only swimming, but through community events, and team bonding, we will strive to not only make these kids faster in swimming, but to help them achieve the greatest summer of their lives! After only 3 summers in the Germantown Gaithersburg Swim League (GGSL), our team moved forward to a bigger league in Montgomery County. In the summer season of 2014, Tiger Sharks have officially become members of MCSL (Montgomery County Swim League). In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic hit, cancelling our 10th season. In 2021, while it’s still considered an unusual summer swim season, the CTC Tiger Sharks was able to proceed and have meets. We currently are in the MCSL Division O and have plans to continue to move forward as a swim team.

As the last whistle blew today at the MCSL Individual All Stars Meet, the 2026 summer swim season officially came to a close! And our CTC Tiger Shark Swim Team wrapped up an amazing 15th season filled with so many fun and unforgettable memories as always!!! Though we didn’t have any representatives swimming at the All Stars Relay and Individual races this season, we could not be prouder of our Tiger Sharks. Keep up the fantastic work, and we hope you keep on swimming long after summer ends!
Below is the first picture of a night meet at the Shark Tank that Mr. Feldy took in the summer of 2011 when our team first established and joined GGSL! We joined MCSL for the first time in the summer of 2014, in Division N.

CONGRATULATIONS for an amazing summer swim season🎉
We hope you enjoyed it! And we hope you had a great time at our first ever banquet and pool party last night! As Coach Nikolai and Maria said, our team is run solely by parent volunteers, and you all know that we have the BEST ones!!! We’re small but mighty team!!! Thank you for everything you have done for our swimmers this season!
