Facebook tells me I havent posted to profile for a while so I decided to run over & fish Lake Okeechobee with my good friend Warren.
The day had a rough start & end. First we r as n a couple miles toward where we wanted to fish & the lake is 4 feet low and our "shortcut" got us hung up on a mud bog. We called a local marina and they dispatched a guy with an airboat to tow us to deeper water.
Ok, now we can finally get some fishing done. As fter 3 hours of teaching our lures to swim I managed to c as tch our 1 & only fish of the day.
The story doesn't end there.....we decided to head back to the dock j the battery was dead! Luckily there was another bass boat nearby & he gave us a jumpstart.
Our next tril will coming up soon, so stay tuned.

We hope to be heading out 35 miles on the Gulf of Mexico for grouper on Sunday, weather permino, so stay tuned for some pics.
