Giving Tuesday is tomorrow!

This Giving Tuesday, December 2, donate to the Clarinda Mini-Golf Restoration Fund, and the Clarinda Foundation Board of Directors will ADD to your donation with challenge awards for total donations — contributing $1,000 to funds with up to $5,000 in total donations; $2,000 for total donations $5,000-$10,000; and $3,000 for funds with total donations over $10,000.

Clarinda's Mini-Golf Course Revitalization Fund began in July 2024 with a committee working to fix and update the mini-golf course by the MHI building. Committee co-chair Megan Hill said, "...for years we wished that we could update this fun space in Clarinda and now we are trying to make that dream come true!" We are excited to introduce our newest little golfer to all of our mini-golf friends! Paige Marie was born September 5th. She and mom are both doing great!! Paige can’t wait to visit the course and learn how to golf from her big brother! 🩷⛳️

It’s a BEAUTIFUL day to play some mini-golf!! ⛳️☀️

We added our last addition to the course in July, the “treehouse,” thanks to Craig Hill. We are already planning on what to add next year, but for now, we are done adding to the course for this year.

Thank you to everyone who has helped out, donated money, promoted the course, and gone out and enjoyed it!! We are so happy to have added such a fun place in Clarinda for everyone to enjoy!

But as a reminder, please treat obstacles and decor with care. Please do not sit or stand on any of the obstacles/decor, as accidents like this will happen. ☹️

📣Kobe is here to share some exciting news with you! We’re going to try this out to see how it goes! 📣

We left some putters and golf balls out for people to borrow. They are sitting by the little building close to the course. Please return the putters and balls when you are done, so others can enjoy playing too! If this goes over well, we will buy a stand (and we already have more putters on the way) that we will continue to leave out for people to borrow from.

Also, our amazing new hole decor/obstacles have arrived!! They were made by a man out of state, who specifically makes mini-golf decor and obstacles. We are so thankful for his beautiful work!!

A lot has been added to the course over the last week and we aren’t done yet! It’s beautiful out here, so make sure to grab some putters and try out the course this weekend!
