We are meant to have times where we definitely don't follow a plan or stick with our New Years Resolutions. It's normal and completely human. In the past two years after the death of my brother, I realized that I ate whatever, whenever, and skipped all workouts or did them sporadic. I wasn't focused on my own health I was focused on getting through day to day as I was heavily dealing with my grief. I'm sure you've been there with each death having a different reaction or way you dealt with grief. I dealt with it by eating my emotions and forgetting what I had learned over the years. In the past month, I have realized that the stress my body endures daily is extremely unhealthy, my joints ache daily, my digestive system is off, and if I had to bet I'm sure my blood pressure is high. So I promised that 2023 would be different, I would develop a routine dedicated to my health. Stay tuned to how I accomplish this. I will be posting recipes, food prep hacks, and much more. It's good to be back.
