Reminder that ImPACT testing for CMS & SHS field hockey players is 1 week from today!

Monday 8/10 at 12:30pm in the SHS Library

This is required for all athletes - please contact Molly, the athletic trainer, ASAP if that date/time does not work for you.

There are many questions circling around about the CMSFH program, and while there are not tons of answers at the moment, there are 2 important things for certain:

1. All players need to register via Final Forms:
https://claremont-nh.finalforms.com

2. All athletes must attend Impact testing prior to any athletic participation. SHS/CMS FH is scheduled for Monday Aug 10th at 12:30pm in the SHS Library. Anyone who cannot attend at this time will need to reach out to Molly, the athletic trainer, via email at [email protected] to schedule another time.

Hi all, Coach Abbey here!

With all of the uncertainty this fall brings, I would like to invite all 8th graders who have signed up to play field hockey on FinalForms to join us this week for practices in hopes that they will decide to join us as JV players this season.

Schedule will be as follows for August 25-29

Monday - 4:30-6pm
Tuesday - 4:30-6:30pm, parent meeting at 6:45pm in the middle school parking lot
Wednesday - 4:30-6:30pm
Thursday - 3:30-5:30pm
Friday - Varsity game at 4pm, JV game at 5:30pm

Hello, all! In light of the sad news from Coach Emily, I wanted to make a post for those who may not have seen my comment. Please rest assured that we are already working on a possible solution and hope to have answers to you all as soon as possible. For now just know - any player who wants to play will have the opportunity to do so; logistical details to follow.

Dear CMS Field Hockey Families,

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you for all of your support over the past two years. Coaching this team has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of the students growth, dedication, and love for the game.

It is with a heavy heart that I share I will not be employed at Claremont Middle School this school year as a School Counselor or Field Hockey Coach. I know this news comes last minute, and I am truly sorry for the timing. Please know this was not an easy decision, but ultimately I need to make the choice that is best for myself and my family right now.

I will always carry with me the memories, lessons, and joy from my time with this team. I wish nothing but the very best for each of you, both on and off the field, and I look forward to cheering you on as you continue to grow and succeed.

Good Morning!!

The Field Hockey banquet will be Monday 11/4 from 5:00-6:00 in the CMS cafeteria. If everyone could please bring a food item to share that would be great! Also, please be sure to bring your uniforms and practice pinnies! I look forward to seeing you all then!! 😊
