Hi all, Coach Abbey here!

With all of the uncertainty this fall brings, I would like to invite all 8th graders who have signed up to play field hockey on FinalForms to join us this week for practices in hopes that they will decide to join us as JV players this season.

Schedule will be as follows for August 25-29

Monday - 4:30-6pm
Tuesday - 4:30-6:30pm, parent meeting at 6:45pm in the middle school parking lot
Wednesday - 4:30-6:30pm
Thursday - 3:30-5:30pm
Friday - Varsity game at 4pm, JV game at 5:30pm

Hello, all! In light of the sad news from Coach Emily, I wanted to make a post for those who may not have seen my comment. Please rest assured that we are already working on a possible solution and hope to have answers to you all as soon as possible. For now just know - any player who wants to play will have the opportunity to do so; logistical details to follow.

Dear CMS Field Hockey Families,

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to each of you for all of your support over the past two years. Coaching this team has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of the students growth, dedication, and love for the game.

It is with a heavy heart that I share I will not be employed at Claremont Middle School this school year as a School Counselor or Field Hockey Coach. I know this news comes last minute, and I am truly sorry for the timing. Please know this was not an easy decision, but ultimately I need to make the choice that is best for myself and my family right now.

I will always carry with me the memories, lessons, and joy from my time with this team. I wish nothing but the very best for each of you, both on and off the field, and I look forward to cheering you on as you continue to grow and succeed.

Good Afternoon!

I have finalized the CMS Field Hockey Schedule for this fall!! 🥳🎉

I will be hosting an informational meeting on 8/25 at CMS in my classroom from 4:00-5:00. This is not mandatory but it is an opportunity to get any and all questions answered and get a printed schedule!

I will soon post a schedule for August/September. In the meantime, if anyone has questions please feel free to reach out! I can’t wait to see you all so soon! 😊🏑💕

Good Morning CMS FH Families!!

I hope you all are having a wonderful summer!! I know it is very last minute, I hope some of you were able to catch that Impact testing is today up at SHS in the Library from 2:30-3:30, but don’t worry if you have not been able to plan for impact testing today, they will have makeups Thursday 8/7 at the SHS library from 2:00-3:00!

If neither of these dates work, please let me know and I will make sure to get another time worked out!

I am working on a schedule and will post it as soon as possible! I look forward to seeing you all so soon! 😊

Due to winter sports schedules, we will have to postpone indoor Field Hockey until March. I will create a schedule and post it on here as well as the Field Hockey page once we get closer. I hope you all stay warm and have a great rest of your week! 😊🏑
