We just wrapped up another amazing week of horse camp and loved seeing our campers develop new riding skills, build confidence in the saddle, and have fun every step of the way!

We also wanted to share a little more about what horse camp at Lazy P is like!

Each camp day is divided between riding time and hands-on ground activities. Ground lessons include learning about grooming, horse colors and markings, horse behavior, horse care, and other fun equine topics, along with horse-themed crafts, games, and barn activities.

Every camper is paired with one of our camp assistants, providing extra one-on-one support that helps build confidence, especially for our beginner riders. Many of our campers have never ridden a horse before coming to camp, so we’ve designed our lessons around fun obstacles, games, and interactive activities that keep riders focused on enjoying themselves while naturally developing their riding skills and confidence in the saddle.

No two camps are exactly the same! We tailor each session to the experience levels and needs of our campers, ensuring every child has a safe, fun, and unforgettable experience.
