DISTRICT CHAMPIONS x 3!

The Clanton Girls Softball League is incredibly proud to say that our 6U, 8U, and 10U All-Star teams have all kept the 2026 USA District Championship titles in Clanton!

The countless hours of practice, hard work, and dedication paid off this weekend, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of you.

A little fun fact about this championship run… 👀

🥎 6U allowed only 4 runs all tournament
🥎 8U allowed only 1 run all tournament
🥎 10U allowed 0 runs all tournament

That’s a combined 5 runs allowed across three championship teams! 👏🏽🔥

Three teams. Three District Championships. One proud softball community. 🧡💙

Next stop: AREA Tournament in Wetumpka!

Unfortunately, both the 6U and 10U tournaments were canceled due to the weather.

But one of the 10U teams quickly put together a tournament in Tuscaloosa, and our girls made the most of the opportunity!

Clanton 10U went 2-0 in pool play, earned the #1 seed, and was ready to roll into bracket play before the rain found them again.

While they didn’t get the chance to finish it out, we’re proud of the way these girls competed and represented Clanton.

We can’t wait to see what this summer has in store for this group of girls! 💪🏽
