a few of us will be gracing Wooden with our presence today if anyone wants to join. we will be there around 1115am until whenever. maybe coach Kenny will draw some plays for us to run since there won't be too many people?

Couldn't quite recover from a 19 point first half deficit, as we got bounced from the playoffs. It always sucks to lose, but we improved a lot this season and had a lot of fun during!

Hot Shot advanced to the Divisional Championship game against DKH Auto with the win over Third Court Superstars 61-55.

Very solid win against (previously) undefeated DKH Auto. Especially good perimeter defense, offensive pe*******on and activity for loose balls. We are now the 2nd ranked team (out of 14) in the Intermediate division!

DKH Auto had pretty solid first half, shooting 10 for 23 from the floor. However, they were out-shined by Third Court Superstars #8 Kevin Jenkins 6 for 10 3-pointers first half performance. Third Court Superstars had 6 points cushion going into 2nd half.

Two straight games of winning by 1 AND final score of 56-55? say it ain't so! shot 30% from the field but defense locked down when needed and a crucial trey by Daniel sent the game to overtime. Travis then made a huge layup and with the foul to put us up by 3 w a min left in OT.

Came back from a 4 point deficit late with some timely jumpers, and got a few big stops to close out the game!

The arc definitely feels a lot closer in this game as the teams combined for 12 3's in 1st half alone (5/11 for Hot Shot, 7/19 for Thrid Court Superstars.)

First win of the intermediate season! Played great defense, (relatively) mistake-free offense and pulled out a close one.

WaCowLA.com started the game with 9-0 but Third Court Superstars came back up the took the lead while WaCowLA struggled from the field with only 33% field goal.
