Sunrise Little League SLL Sunrise Little League (SLL) was formed in 1975 under the vision of Lester Carrick. Our fields are located at C-Bar-C Park on Oak Ave.

Our league provides a fun and safe place for kids to play both spring and fall baseball. Sunrise Little League (SLL) was formed in 1975. The acreage necessary for the fields was acquired by Sunrise Parks and Recreation District in 1973 for the sole purpose of youth baseball by the wishes of Lester Carrick. C-Bar-C was born in 1975 as the volunteers of SLL built the four baseball fields. Over the years, a snack bar was built by SLL volunteers to replace the old railroad car that temporarily housed the snack bar at its current site. SLL worked to have lighted fields added in the 80's and early 90’s as the final lighted field was added in 1994 on the Major Field. SLL Winterball surpassed all Northern Sacramento as the largest Winterball program catering to youth 6-15 in the area. SLL began its highly successful Memorial Weekend Tournaments Fundraiser in 2002, and hosts teams from all
over Northern California with almost 6,000 visitors every year in this four day event.

🍿 SNACK BAR SHIFT LEADS NEEDED! ⚾

Our snack bar is a big part of keeping our league running, and we are looking for dedicated volunteers who would like to step up!

As a Shift Leader, you would:
• Commit to one day per week for the entire season
• Run the register and oversee the snack bar
• Make sure everything runs smoothly during your shift
• Check in and coordinate volunteers
• Work alongside the Board Member on Duty
• Help keep food, drinks, and supplies stocked
• Help create a positive, organized environment for our volunteers and families

We need volunteers who are dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work together as a team. We can provide a spreadsheet schedule so everyone knows their assigned day, and we’ll work together throughout the season to keep our busy snack bar running smoothly!

!!!FALL BALL STARTS IN ONE WEEK!!!

Here are a few reminders

👉🏻Sunrise Little League is run by ALL volunteers from coaches to cooks! Please be patient and kind with all workers. No one is getting paid and no one is getting a baseball scholarship...yet!

👉🏻 Snack Bar coverage begins 30 minutes prior to your team’s scheduled game time and ends 30 minutes after your team’s final out.

👉🏻The "Away" Team provides snack bar coverage. While the "Home" Team keeps score and pitch count.

👉🏻In conjunction with Little League International, District 5, Sunrise Little League and Sunrise Parks & Rec there is NO smoking, NO va**ng & NO alcoholic beverages allowed at C-Bar-C Park or any other area parks.

👉🏻Please pick up after your team and leave our park cleaner than you found it.

Calling all Snack Bar Volunteers, Helpers, Shift Leaders, Board Members, and anyone who wants to learn! 🙌

We’re hosting a Snack Bar Training to go over food prep, procedures, expectations, safety, and daily operations. So, everyone feels confident and knows what to do when our snack bar gets busy!

This is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, share suggestions, and make sure we’re all working together as one team. Our goal is to keep things running smoothly, safely, and efficiently while providing a great experience for our players, families, and volunteers.

Whether you’re experienced or brand new to the snack bar, we want you there! Come learn, grow, and help us make this season our best one yet! ⚾️
