What a season for the Colts

The 2025-26 campaign was one to remember, as the Colts finished with an outstanding 22-4 record and a deep run to the Regional Semifinals. This group set the standard all season long with their toughness, unselfishness, and commitment to each other.

The Colts went undefeated in Marion County, capturing the MAC County Championship and claiming the Class 4A District 5 Championship, establishing themselves as one of the top teams in the area. Night after night, this team proved its depth and resilience — winning in dominant fashion, battling through adversity, and coming up clutch in big moments.

This season was also filled with incredible individual accomplishments:
• JD Jackson reached the 1,000-point milestone, a testament to his dedication and consistency.
• LJ Sweeting was named FACA 4A District 7 Player of the Year, recognizing his outstanding performance and leadership.
• Coach Tim Yarn earned Coach of the Year honors, leading this group to one of the most successful seasons in program history.

The future is bright as well, with multiple players earning multiple college offers, a reflection of the talent, work ethic, and culture within this program.

Most importantly, this team will be remembered for how they played — together. From blowout wins to comeback victories, the Colts showed heart, discipline, and pride every time they stepped on the floor.

Thank you to our players, seniors, coaches, families, fans, and supporters for making this season special!

The Colts’ incredible run came to an end in the Regional Semifinals, but there is nothing but pride for this group. Finishing the year 22-4, the best record in school history, and competing at the highest level is something this team earned through hard work, sacrifice, and commitment to one another. This group showed resilience, toughness, and heart all season long. From big road wins to comeback victories and dominant performances, these players represented our program the right way every single night.

To our seniors — thank you. Your leadership, dedication, and example have left a lasting mark on this program. You set the standard, and your impact will be felt long after the final buzzer.

To our coaching staff — thank you for the countless hours, preparation, and belief in these young men. Your leadership guided this team to one of the most memorable seasons in recent history.

To our fans, families, and student section — you made our gym special and traveled to support us everywhere. Your energy and encouragement never went unnoticed.

And to our sponsors and community supporters — thank you for investing in our program and our players. Your support makes moments like this possible.

This season may be over, but the pride in this team will last. Thank you for being part of the journey.

The Colts delivered a dominant 69-35 victory over Satellite in the first round of regional playoffs, improving their impressive record to 22-3. The team showcased exceptional depth and balanced scoring, with five players reaching double figures in what was a complete team performance from start to finish.

The game was effectively decided in the opening quarter, as the Colts exploded out of the gate with a commanding 18-7 lead. Jd Jackson sparked the early fireworks, scoring the game’s first basket and contributing 6 points during a blistering 10-0 run to open the contest. Jackson finished with an outstanding stat line of 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting, including a perfect 2-for-2 from three-point range and 2-for-2 from the free-throw line. The Colts never looked back, extending their advantage to 34-11 by halftime behind Darnell Goodman’s 7-point second quarter, where he knocked down clutch three-pointers and free throws to help build the insurmountable lead.

Matt Dial took control in the third quarter, pouring in 8 points during the period to finish as the game’s leading scorer with 14 points on an efficient 6-of-8 shooting performance. Edward Law provided consistent offensive production throughout, contributing 12 points on 5-of-8 field goal shooting while connecting on 2-of-4 three-pointers. Tekelvin Jackson added 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting, capping off the balanced attack that saw the Colts maintain their substantial lead throughout the second half and cruise to the 34-point victory. The impressive win highlighted the Colts’ depth, ball movement, and ability to execute on both ends of the floor.

The Colts will be back at home next Saturday night at 7pm to take on Eastside in the regional semifinals. Come support!
