THIS is what we mean when we say: build a body for LIFE. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพโค๏ธ

I have to celebrate TruBody member Jessica.

The photo on the left is Jessica before pregnancy.

The photo on the right is Jessica now โ€” 8 months postpartum and a new mom.

And look at her. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

But what I'm most proud of isn't simply how she looks.

It's what happened between these two pictures.

Jessica built a foundation of strength before becoming pregnant. With appropriate medical clearance, she continued strength training throughout her pregnancy โ€” literally training right up until the day she delivered.

Throughout that journey, we were able to track her body, adjust her training, and keep the focus on maintaining strength and muscle while her body did the incredible work of growing her son.

Now, eight months into motherhood, that investment is showing.

She's strong.
She's rebuilding.
And in some ways, she's coming back better than before.

That's the lesson.

Don't just train for the body you want today. Build a body capable of carrying you through the different seasons of your life.

That's what TruBody 90 is designed to teach.

Over 90 days, we help women learn how to strength train, understand their body-composition data, build muscle, and develop a system they can continue using as life changes.

Whether you're preparing for motherhood, rebuilding after pregnancy, or simply realizing it's finally time to invest in your own body โ€” you don't have to figure it out alone.

If Jessica's story reminds you of yourself โ€” or of a woman you love โ€” send me โ€œSTRONGโ€ and I'll tell you more about TruBody 90.

And Jessicaโ€ฆ

You did that. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ

Pregnancy. Motherhood. Eight months postpartum.

And we're still building.

The Weight Is Gone. Now What?

Tonight at 7:30 PM Eastern, Iโ€™m hosting a live TruBody Talk on Zoom about life during and after GLP-1 weight loss.

Medications such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, and Zepbound have helped many people lose significant weight. But losing weight does not automatically answer the next set of questions:

What happened to your muscle?

Are you stronger?

Are you eating enough to properly nourish your body?

Do you understand your current body composition?

What systems are in place to help you maintain your progress?

During this live Town Hall discussion, weโ€™ll cover:

How to protect and rebuild muscle
Why smaller does not always mean stronger
Nutrition when appetite is reduced
The difference between weight loss and body transformation
How to build habits, strength, and structure for long-term maintenance

This is not an anti-medication discussion, and we will not be advising anyone to start, stop, or change medication. Those decisions belong between you and your medical provider.

This conversation is about understanding the body you have nowโ€”and intentionally building what comes next.

Meet Ernestine. ๐ŸŒฟ

At the time of this video, she was down about 15 pounds.

But what stands out most is not just the weight loss.

It is how she talks about herself.

She is proud.

Proud that she started.

Proud that she stayed with it.

Proud that her body is changing.

Proud that she is doing something for herself.

That matters.

It is also about the moment you start recognizing yourself again.

The moment you feel your clothes fitting differently.

The moment your body starts responding.

The moment you realize, โ€œI can actually do this.โ€

And for anyone sitting on the fence about TruBody, Ernestineโ€™s advice is simple:

๐—๐˜‚๐˜€๐˜ ๐—ด๐—ฒ๐˜ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ.

You do not have to be perfect.

You do not have to already be in shape.

You do not have to have it all figured out.

You just have to take the first step.

At TruBody, we meet you where you are and help you build from there.

Training.
Nutrition.
Recovery.
Accountability.
A real plan for your body.

Meet Ernestine. ๐ŸŒฟ

At the time of this testimonial, Ernestine was down 15+ lbs.

But this video is about more than the number.

It is about her TruBody experience.

How her body was changing.
How she felt about her progress.
What stood out to her about the process.
And what she would want someone else to know if they were thinking about getting started.

That is why we love hearing directly from our members.

Because real transformation is not just about weight loss.

It is also about pride.
Confidence.
Consistency.
Support.
And finally feeling like your body is moving in the right direction.

At TruBody Wellness, we help adults look better, feel better, and move better through training, nutrition, recovery, and support.

Well, thatโ€™s just it.

TruBody is not just a gym.

TruBody Wellness is a boutique wellness studio that helps people become the healthiest version of themselves.

And your skin is part of that equation.

Not because appearance is everything.

But because your skin is often the first place you notice when something feels off.

Dryness.
Breakouts.
Irritation.
Dark marks.
Puffiness.
A glow that used to be there but now feels like it disappeared.

Most of us were taught to ask:

โ€œWhat should I put on my skin?โ€

But I want you to ask a deeper question:

"What is my body trying to tell me through my skin?โ€

Thatโ€™s why we created the free TruBody Skin Guide:

It gives you a simple look at what your skin does, what it may be showing you, and the nutrients and support it needs to keep doing its job.

Your skin is your bodyโ€™s protective shield โ€” and like every system in the body, it needs the right support.
Dryness, dullness, breakouts, irritation, slow healing, and changes in skin texture can sometimes be signs that your body needs better hydration, nutrition, digestion, circulation, or recovery support.
This week, weโ€™re offering a free nutrition consultation to help you take a closer look at what your body may need from the inside out.
If your skin, energy, digestion, or routine has felt off, this is a simple place to start.

Healthy skin starts beneath the surface.
Imagine dropping a pebble into the center of a still pond. The ripple does not begin at the edge. It begins in the center, then moves outward.
Your body works the same way.
Everything you eat enters your digestive system first. From there, your body decides where those nutrients go.
Your brain is fed.
Your heart is fed.
Your liver is fed.
Your immune system is fed.
Your muscles are fed.
Only after your essential systems receive what they need do nutrients move outward to support your skin, hair, and nails.
Your skin is not forgotten. It is simply one of the final destinations.
So if youโ€™re noticing dryness, dullness, irritation, breakouts, inflammation, slow healing, or changes in texture, donโ€™t only ask, โ€œWhat can I put on my skin?โ€
Ask, โ€œWhat is my body trying to tell me?โ€

05/01/2026

I just finished a training session. And I need to share something while I'm still in it.

I had no plans to record today. But some mornings demand to be remembered. This was one of them.

I've been training since I was 14. For most of my life, I thought I was just someone who loved to work out. But over these past couple of years โ€” going deep into the internal world, the emotional work, the things that were left unaddressed in childhood โ€” I started seeing what training was actually doing for me.

It wasn't just exercise. It was regulation. It was medication. It was the place I went when I had no words for what was happening inside. Training was the transmutation โ€” where I could take the rage, the grief, the weight of everything, and move it through my body into something productive.

For years, training was my glue.

So when my training fell apart during the depression โ€” when the one thing that held everything together stopped holding โ€” that's when I started to see how fractured things actually were underneath. And that was brutal. But it was also the beginning of something real.

Three things came to me this morning while I was training. I wrote them down.

The first one was: training has been my beard for the tears.

The second one was: Z is the me I never got to be.

Z is my youngest. Six years old. Full fireball. Every emotion on the surface, every desire, every opinion โ€” he just lets it fly. And I watch him and I feel this mix of inspiration and something almost like grief. Because I know what I couldn't dare say at that age. I know what I was taught to contain.

Watching my boys express their fullest selves in every single moment โ€” it ministers to me. I'm going to be learning from my six-year-old. And I'm at peace with that, because that's what mutual edification looks like.

The third thing I wrote down was: I fought against my yin and yang all of my life.

I thought about Black Panther. About T'Challa and Killmonger. My father wanted me to be T'Challa โ€” composed, contained, a certain way about himself. But in my heart, I always had more Killmonger. That side that sees truth with crystal clear eyes and has zero tolerance for what's wrong. That fire. That rage. That unshakeable knowing.

For my whole life, I looked at that side of myself as a flaw. Something to kill off. Something to sequester. Something to be ashamed of.

And suppressing it caused me immense pain.

But here's what I know now: it's not a flaw. It's fire. And fire needs somewhere to go โ€” not a cage.

The only place I ever truly allowed myself to be fully me was in the gym. No performance. No manicuring. Just the work.

I don't have the tolerance to keep manicuring myself anymore. And honestly โ€” I never should have had to.

Who I had to become in order to survive began so early that my formative years are woven through with it. I'm still making some decisions for the first time. Learning what it means to live as who I actually am โ€” not who I had to be.

And my father โ€” rest his soul โ€” didn't teach me how to quit. That's one thing I know for certain.

I will research. I will create. I will trial. I will fail. I will repeat. And I will win. For myself. For my sons. For my sisters.

You are your masterpiece.

P.S. What I'm realizing more and more is this: the tools that held us together when we were young โ€” those structures served us. But they are not meant to stay forever in the same form. Renewal isn't starting over. It's starting again โ€” from everything you've already survived.

Committed to Your Success,
Coach T

I want to share something I put together recently โ€” and I need you to hear it all the way through before you judge it.

Because the first line might sting a little.

Here it is: the reason your body hasn't changed yet isn't because you're not working hard enough.

It's because you've been looking at your body the wrong way the entire time.

I know. Stay with me.

I come from an engineering background. Systems. Inputs. Outputs. Patterns. That's how I've always understood the world. And over the years, I started paying attention to something โ€” there are entire experiences in a woman's world that mirror things in a man's world, but unless you've actually lived it, you can't see the parallel.

So I found one.

Let me ask you something.

Have you ever gone to get a full set done? Not rushed, not squeezed in between errands โ€” but actually sat down, committed to the process, and let someone take you through it step by step?

Think about what actually happens in that chair.

They don't jump to the end. They prep. They clean. They shape. They build. They refine. Then they finish. And the whole time, you trust it. Even when you're halfway through and it looks incomplete, you don't panic. You don't say "this isn't working." You don't get up and walk out.

Because you understand something without even thinking about it. You're in the middle of the process.

Now here's where it lands.

When it comes to your body, you don't give yourself that same understanding. Two days in. Three days in. Maybe a week. And you're already judging. Already questioning. Already halfway out the door. You skip steps. You rush. You try to jump straight to the finished look. And when it doesn't come fast enough, you quietly start believing something is wrong with you.

Nothing is wrong with you.

You were just never shown how to run the full set. That's it.

And here's what the full set actually looks like: move your body so it stays open and mobile. Get your heart working so your system stays alive. Stimulate your muscles so your metabolism has a reason to respond. Hydrate so everything can function. Fuel yourself properly so your cells have what they need. Follow through on your meals so your body can build real consistency.

That's your set.

And the rule that frees you? You don't need a 10 out of 10 day. You don't need to be flawless. You don't need to feel amazing. You just need a 7 out of 10. Complete the set. Do that day after day after day โ€” and your body has no choice but to respond.

Not because you got lucky. Not because you finally found the perfect plan. Because you gave your body what it's been asking for the entire time.

Something powerful happens when you start living like this. You stop obsessing over the mirror. You stop questioning every fluctuation. You stop chasing shortcuts. And then one day, you look up โ€” and it's not halfway done anymore. It's done.

It didn't happen overnight. It happened because you finally respected the process the same way you always have in every other area of your life.

P.S. I'm building something around this exact concept. A journal designed to walk you through your full set every single day โ€” simple, tangible, non-negotiable. If you want to be first to know when it drops, reply with the word JOURNAL. I'll make sure you're on the list.

Committed to your success,
Coach T
