to 2022-23 when these two young Falcons punched their tickets to the middle school state wrestling meet. Even then, it was clear that Tyre Bush Freeman and Darian Jones had something special.

Fast forward to today, and they’ve etched their names into Aiken wrestling history. Tyre became Aiken’s first Division I OHSAA Sectional Champion, and Darian became Aiken’s first Division I OHSAA State Qualifier.

As their Athletic Director, moments like this are incredibly special. Watching our student-athletes grow, develop, and achieve milestones for our program is what it’s all about. Proud of both of these young men for representing Aiken with hard work, determination, and Falcon pride.

The future was bright in 2023—and they proved it.

Your Aiken Falcons are headed to the Southwest District Division I Boys Wrestling Tournament at Trent Arena in Kettering tomorrow (3/6) and Saturday (3/7).

🗓 Event Schedule:
Friday (3/6)
• Doors Open: 3:00 PM
• Wrestling Begins: 4:00 PM

Saturday (3/7)
• Doors Open: 9:00 AM
• Wrestling Begins: 10:00 AM

🎟 Ticket Prices:
• $10 Adults
• $5 Students
