We did it Joe 🥹✨

verrryyy excited to share that We Outside has been selected as a 2026 Boots on the Ground Fund grantee through the Greater Cincinnati Foundation, in partnership with the City of Cincinnati.

this support is helping us continue building work rooted in mental health, wellbeing, and connection outside. creating space for people to step outside, slow down, and reconnect with themselves, each other, and the local environment in ways that feel restorative.

so grateful to and for investing in this work and in community-based organizations doing the work on the ground.

we’re honored to be one of 35 organizations selected in a highly competitive cycle, and we’re really excited for what this makes possible next.

First Rec for Wellness hike of the summer and we’re hypeeee.

We Outside is teaming up with Cincinnati Parks Foundation for a guided group hike through Smale Riverfront Park on Saturday, May 23rd from 10am–11am. Come get outside with us, meet some new people, move your body a little, and start your morning by the river.

No pressure, no experience needed. Just pull up comfortable and ready to walk.

Bring water, good energy, and ya walking shoes. Let’s kick the summer off right. 🌿

Zamnnnnnnn 🥹

This past month y’all really showed us what community support can look like in real time.

Because of everybody donating, sharing, reposting, and spreading the word, we’ve officially extended our lease through September.🥳

That support gave us real breathing room and validated how much people want this space to exist.

One thing we’re especially proud of is being able to keep many of our events pay-what-you-can. Community support is what allows us to lower barriers and make it easier for people to simply pull up.

BUT.. we’re not at the finish line yet. We’re still working toward long-term stability so We Outside can continue being a place people return to again and again.

Ways to support:

Sunday was so much fun. And yeah, our ankles are still feeling it.

Them kids definitely showed us our age, but also reminded us what good, clean fun actually feels like. Capture the flag, kickball, flag football… definitely need to run this back.
