This video was taken a few weeks back... but this is a new field we've killed off from grass, weeds and small trees and are splitting it in half!
The half closest to the neighbors, we are building a Miscanthus wall that will flow into several acres of switchgrass.
The other half (closest to our big woods and away from the neighbor) will be a new Alfalfa field.
The object of this is to put bedding closer to the neighbors and closing up all visibility a neighbor could have onto our property and put even more food on the interior of our farm.
This particular farm will now have 4 Alfalfa/clover plots, 3 different Miscanthus walls 2 big destination row crop fields, a TSI program, 3 switchgrass fields and 2 additional standing grain plots. 🦌
