I woke today to the sad news of the passing of Yagi, Meitetsu Sensei. The youngest son of Dai Sensei Meitoku Yagi 75 years old.

My condolences to the Yagi family and his students.
While my experience with him was very short in 2012 he brought a different perspective and element to my training.
It is sad to see so many Okinawan Sensei of his generation passing away.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and students.

Some get hung up on details - like how you tie your belt.

Others look at it and smile, because hey... at least you're in class, and that's more important than how your belt might look.
