FSAE a collegiate design competition sanctioned by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) for student members. It is open to any student at the University of Cincinnati. The competition challenges students to budget, design, build, test, and race a formula-style racecar. The competition also provides studen

ts practical design and manufacturing experience while challenging them to use their acquired knowledge, teamwork, and creativity to complete the project. The cars are built as a team effort over a period of one year and then taken to annual competitions to compete against over 120 other colleges and universities from around the world. The overall experience gained through the FSAE competition is a valuable asset for students transitioning them from their academic surroundings into professional careers.

An incredibly successful weekend in the books for the team!
For a group made up of many first-timers and people mostly new to FSAE, the team stepped up and worked relentlessly even before the season officially begins.

🥇 We took home 1st place in Acceleration for the very first time and secured an impressive 5th place overall finish!

In 262 days, the car rolls out at FSAE Michigan, and this weekend proved that there is plenty more where that came from. 🏁🔥

Spring Alumni Design Review is just around the corner!
This year, it will take place on Saturday, April 18th, at 1819 Innovation Hub on the second floor.

9:30 am: Breakfast + Networking
10:00 AM - 10: 40 AM: BCMS
11:10 AM - 11:50 AM: BER
1:00 PM - 1:40 PM: BAJA

One of the awesome perks of being on our team is getting to learn how to weld and have access to the tools in our shop, we're sure plenty of alumni can attest to the valuable experience they've gained from our shop.
