Memorial Day POP UP PICNIC Skate!
Monday May 25 at 11am

🛼 BRING YOUR OWN SKATES - as the skate rental room will not be open for the season yet (official season opening is May 30 with DJ FEST! 🙌🏼).

🧺 PACK A LUNCH - bring your hydration and some lunch for yourself, or bring something to share if you feel led.

🎶 We will provide the music and the line dance skate steps.

🤠 We found cute 🇺🇸 sequence cowboy hats at Walgreens, feel free to grab one and/or rock red white and blue with us!

You don’t have to coordinate to join the fun and community.

‼️ REGISTRATION REQUIRED at CincySocialights.com. This is to sign the waiver as well as be plugged in to get notice of any event updates due to weather etc.

In the event of weather cancelation, we will notify those registered and post in the stories here at .

Flying Pig Marathon Skaters needed! 🐽
Volunteer sign up deadline is Friday, April 24th.
SIGN UP TODAY ✨

Join for a block party & street skate while we cheer on runners in the Flying Pig Marathon! We’re back bigger and better this year with a DJ, hospitality tent, a cookout, street skating and line dancing. The best part? By cheering and partying from 6:30am - 10:30am, you’ll help earn money toward the Riverfront Rink revitalization campaign. Welcome to bring a dish or drinks to share, or just bring yourself!

Organizers need a headcount asap! The first 30 volunteers to register before April 24th and arrive the morning of the marathon by 6:30am will receive a free flying pig t-shirt .

⚠️ Important note on registration: The marathon organizers track our attendance so they can make a donation to the riverfront rink based on the number of folks we have present. If you are able to commit to participating from 6:30-10:30am on Sunday May 3rd (rain or shine!) please register so we receive credit for organizing our crew of participants! If you can’t commit to being there the whole time but still want to join us, you don’t need to register, just show up and come skate with us!

What to wear & bring:‍ ‍
🐽 Wear pink! It’s the official color of the Flying Pig.

Bring with you:
🐽 Your Skates & skate bag
🐽 Comfortable shoes (we’ll be on our feet all morning & you’ll need breaks from your skates)
🐽 A poncho (this is a rain or shine event)
🐽 Waterbottle
🐽 Sunscreen
🐽 Fun money: downtown establishments will be hosting events all weekend long and the riverfront will be full of amazing food vendors you’ll want to try at the Marathon Afterparty in Smale Riverfront Park.
