Not exactly the Kentucky Speed Week we had planned, thanks to Mother Nature, but we made the most of it running Friday at Ponderosa Speedway KY and Saturday at Florence Speedway.

Great car all night, thought we had completely missed the set up for the feature - afterwards found a broken three wheel brake solenoid was to blame.

A solid rebound night with a podium finish. We would've liked to have made a few different changes for the feature, but overall a strong run.

When multiple projects collide... 🏁🐝

Had to call in backup to get the #10 finished. Today, we’re reminded that both racing and beekeeping involve protective gear, questionable decisions, and getting stung if you make a mistake.

Race day and dollar day? Yes, please! 🏁

For the first time in over a month, it’s finally ! Mother Nature has finally relented and has given us a gorgeous Saturday for racing.

And it’s a big night here at Florence Speedway as we have one of our popular Dollar Days with $1 drinks, $1 food and $1 beers!

On track, the Ohio Thunder IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Series is on hand as a part of a 5 division racing program.

Tickets are just $15 and kids 12 & under are free.

Thankfully, Mother Nature finally decided to cooperate, and Ponderosa Speedway KY is racing tonight! 🏁

Unloaded with decent speed, and was able to move forward in both the heat and feature. Found a little extra late in the main to claim a spot on the podium. We'll take what we learned and get ready for the next one.

The good news: school’s out for summer. 😎🙌

The bad news: Mother Nature saw all of us racers getting excited and chose violence. 🌧🌧️

Region-wide rainouts mean I’m spending my first weekend of summer doing something unfamiliar: not racing.

Enjoy the weekend, remember those who made it possible, and we’ll be ready when the weather finally cooperates. 🇺🇸🏁
