We are 100% focused on the players we made a commitment to in Fall of 25. We will make the same statement we did last year.
As a club we have attempted to be just that.- a soccer CLUB. A club where you have an actual place to grow, to learn, to develop and ultimately a place to call home. Every year we ask for a commitment from families during our tryouts. That commitment starts on the day the family accepts the roster invite and last for 2 full seasons or 1 full year. We have decided to NOT follow the trend in the Tri-State Cincinnati area and we will NOT be having Team Tryouts MID SEASON. We feel this would be irresponsible of us to break team culture and also break our commitment to our families, a commitment to focus on their athlete's development for atleast a 2 season cycle. Creating new rosters with new players BEFORE our current rosters even finish their seasons just didn't seem like the right thing to do. We asked for a commitment from those players and they deserve that same commitment back. We understand "capturing players early" is great for business. But we don't make these decisions based on business. We make every decision based on what's best for our players. I currently have 2 daughters who play in the club and I know exactly how I would feel if their coach was bringing in their replacements in Mid April and Early May. Again as I made it clear a few weeks ago, we stick to our core values which are continuing to offer affordable options at EVERY LEVEL of youth soccer- from Recreational, Club, Regional, and now the National Level with our addition of the National Academy program (NLA)
That being said we will start our Team Tryouts on May 26th, and all should be finished within that week. Additional NLA ID Sessions will be held in June.
If anyone has questions or comments regarding tryouts please reach out to me directly.
