This past weekend, Kameron Bedel (165 lbs.) finished 8-1 in Greco and 5-2 in freestyle (13-3 overall), helping lead Team Ohio to a national runner-up finish in freestyle.

Rylee Miller (94 lbs.) finished 4-5 in Greco for Team Ohio, and the team placed 10th out of more than 40 teams from across the United States.

Ethan Suer (92 lbs.) finished 5-4 in Greco and 5-3 in freestyle (10-7 overall) on the week as well.

The National Duals featured the best wrestlers from around the country, each representing their respective states. Competing at this level is extremely difficult, and simply earning the opportunity to represent your state is a tremendous accomplishment. The grueling schedule and elite competition make these performances something to be proud of.

Today marked our last full day at camp, and the Panthers continued to put in the work. The boys battled through multiple wrestling sessions, live matches, and technique instruction while pushing themselves physically and mentally throughout the day. Camp is about more than just learning new wrestling moves—it’s about developing toughness, discipline, and confidence when you’re tired and challenged. After a hard day on the mats, the team had an opportunity to relax with a trip to Lake Erie, where they enjoyed some fishing, sunshine, and ice cream before returning for the evening session. As the week comes to a close, our wrestlers have represented our program with great effort and attitude while continuing to build the team chemistry that will carry over into the season. One more day to go before we head home—proud of the work this group has put in all week!

Fourteen Panthers made the 4-hour trip north to Milan, Ohio, for a week of hard work at Burnett’s Camp. After getting started with the opening session last night, today marked the first full day of camp.

During this 5-day camp, the team will be challenged with intense training sessions, live wrestling, and technique instruction from a variety of coaches. More importantly, it’s an opportunity for our wrestlers to push themselves, build team chemistry, and continue developing the habits that lead to success.

There were a lot of great live matches today, and the wrestlers were pushed to their limits by the end of the night.

We’re excited to see the growth these athletes make both on and off the mat this week!
