🚨 DRILL OF THE WEEK 🚨

In this weeks drill, Coach TO explains what we call the  “Chuck It Stick Drill.” This drill is designed to replicate our path and reinforce key movement patterns within the swing.

Tight turn connected to the shoulder 🏹
Controlled tempo 🌊
Directional through the middle 🛤️
Palm up > extension 🫴🏼
High finish 💫

The goal is to work behind the ball, drive through the middle of the field, and stay palm up through extension instead of cutting the swing off early.

It is a more advanced drill to consistently execute but one that gives us immediate feedback. Ball flight tells you the story. Train the move until it shows up in the game!

A lot of hitters try to “pull” everything and end up getting around the ball. We’re training the barrel to stay through it longer with true direction and adjustable power! 💥

The disc doesn’t lie.

If the forearm/palm rolls early, the disc dies. If it stays up and through the middle, it flies.

Palm up.

Extension through the big part of the field.

This is what consistency looks like! Teddy shows up, listens, competes, and goes to work every session. Talent matters - but coachability, effort, and habits are what separate players long-term, and he brings all three.

100 sessions in, foundations are built. The ceiling keeps moving and evolution is revealed. Proud of the work and the standard being set! ∞
