Over that last 3-4 years I've discovered several favorite air rifles for AAFTA Hunter Field Target:

#1) the Daystate Redwolf in .177 using an SSL @ 10.3 lbs

#2) the RAW HM 1000 .20 cal using a SSL @11.8 lbs

#3) the Daystate Wolverine using an SSL @ 11 lbs

#4) the Daystate Blackwolf using an SSL @ 12.2 lbs

#5) the Steyr LG110 as prepped by AZ @ 12.8 lbs no SSL :{

#6) the Thomas in .177 @ 14 lbs no SSL :{

It would seem that the overall weight and having an SSL single shot loader, which makes feeding tiny pellets so much easier.
