Welcome to South Bay Little League Fall Ball!

We’re excited for another fun season of baseball and softball at Max Field! Please review the information below with your coaches, team parents, and families.

Some scheduling details are still being finalized and will be shared as soon as they become available.

FIELD PREP

Teams scheduled to practice or play are responsible for preparing their field, including dragging and chalking when needed. Volunteers or board members may occasionally assist, but this is not guaranteed. Please plan to arrive early enough to have your field ready.

FIELD TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

Managers have access to the equipment shed for chalk, rakes, bases, and other field supplies.

LOANED EQUIPMENT

Equipment load out to teams will come with a fee. Catchers Gear, Balls, etc. If you feel the equipment we provide is not sufficient, you are free to buy your own, no harm no foul.

BATTING CAGES

Teams are responsible for keeping the cages clean and reporting any missing or damaged equipment. The final team using the cages each evening must make sure all doors are properly secured.

Theft of league equipment will be reported.

GAME DAY & SPORTSMANSHIP

South Bay Little League has ZERO TOLERANCE for umpire abuse, taunting, or inappropriate behavior toward players, coaches, families, or opposing teams. Anyone engaging in this behavior will be asked to leave the park.

Please also leave dugouts and fields clean after every game and practice. No food, sunflower seeds or gum are not allowed in dugouts.

MAX FIELD RULES

Please park only in designated parking stalls. If the lot is full, use available street parking. Park rangers make frequent stops during our games and will issue citations.

No smoking or alcohol is permitted anywhere inside the park gates. Anyone violating this policy will be asked to leave.

SNACK SHACK DUTY

Each team will be assigned a Snack Shack shift. Team Parents should coordinate volunteers ahead of time to ensure their shift is covered.

Failure to cover an assigned Snack Shack shift will result in the loss of a team practice day.

GAME CANCELLATIONS

Games canceled due to weather, field conditions, or circumstances outside the league’s control are not guaranteed to be rescheduled.

The City has also advised us of possible upcoming field work. We will communicate any impacts to practices or games once additional information becomes available.

And just like that the Championship games happened. Congratulations to the Queens and Showtime for your wins! You both played exciting games vs. some very good teams! Shout out to every single of you that came in week in and week out to play! Special thanks to all team staff members for their hard work and dedication!

Hello! You are all invited to our welcome back bbq on Friday Sept. 11th. We will have hamburgers and hotdogs while supplies lasts! Bring your chairs, canopies and hang out with us in the outfield of Field 2. We will have music, jumpers and a special unveiling of our 2026 banners! 9-11u Southern California Softball Champions as well as our Majors TOC baseball championship banner!

Come through if you can and enjoy eachothers company! See you Friday!

Day 3 of playoffs! These girls definitely came ready to play! Lots of action on all three fields! All this hard work leads us in to tomorrow’s much anticipated championship Friday!

Games start at 5pm tomorrow! Full snackshack, so break your piggy bank because South Bay Fries will be there, in a paper boat, topped with grilled onions, chopped patty and not so secret sauce.

It takes a lot of work to keep the fields playable. To keep our facility clean. Come help out for a little bit please! We can do it together!

We would like to thank all the girls, their coaches, managers, team moms, team dads and families for braving the sun this summer and kickin’ up dust at Max Field! It was great meeting you all and watching you all play these past few months. I’m sorry I wasnt able to take more pictures as my stuff was getting repaired but shout out to all you social media gurus that kept it going for your team accounts! You guys are the real champs!
