🩵Senior Standout🩵

For our last senior Kaylah Franke #6. One of our captions. You have contributed so much to this team and we will miss all the fun memories from the past 3 years and the team, even though your season came to an end soon you were still always there for the team.As our ur left fielder who always held it down, making her a key part of our outfield. Always being positive and making the team laugh.We are so proud and will miss you. Can’t wait to see how your next chapter unfolds as she will be attending Saginaw Valley State University for flag football!

Future plans: I will be furthering my academic and flag football career in michigan

Our next senior is Victoria Resendez #8.
Having her for all 4 years has been amazing. Victoria has been a key role as one of our pitchers, always locking it down in the circle. Having a competitive mindset making her someone we can count on. When she’s not she’s cheering and being a good teammate. Always bringing out the best in herself and her teammates,having positive energy. We are so proud of everything you’ve done,we can’t wait to see how you do at university of hawaii-hilo!

Future plans are to continue my athletic and academic career at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, and major in Kinesiology.

Favorite Memory: Is being able to contribute to our 4-peat and go on to win state. It was such a fun time where I got to share great memories with my teammates that I won’t forget.

Our next senior is Raquel Crespo #2. The two years we’ve had with you has been great watching you grow from year to year as a person and as a player. Always holding it down in the outfield with her tough mindset and always giving it her all, with her speed and sharp moves. Always being positive and being a good teammate and cheering and leading as an upperclassman,pumping up her teammates. Also as our 2026 prom queen, first ever in the softball years!! We are so proud of you,can’t wait to see how the years unfold for you!

Future plan: I’ll be counting my education and playing softball at South Western community college, majoring in nursing

Favorite memories: My favorite memory is when we went to LA with the team for a tournament & just growing close with these amazing girls that I’ll miss. 😊🥲

Our next senior is Jayla Carrillo #20.
Jayla is one of our outfielders. As her first year varsity she has shown great commitment, always cheering and being a good teammate. Always having a positive attitude and being determined to be better everyday,making her great on and off the field.Jayla we are so proud after only being with you for a year and we can’t wait to see what the next years hold for you!!

Attend UCSD and major in Speech and Language Sciences to become a Speech Therapist.

Starting off senior standouts,huge shoutout to are amazing center fielder,Kalina Sangalang #22. Since making varsity Kalina has been a key player as our lead off and centerfielder. Always making those diving plays and giving her all every game, making her someone we can always count on. She is always bringing the positive energy and being there for her teammates. We’re so proud of everything she’s done for this team, can’t wait to see what’s next in store for you!

Future Plans: I will be continuing my athletic and academic career at San Diego Mesa College and major in Journalism.

Favorite Memory: My favorite memory on this team is just being able to be with all these amazing girls that I have became so close with while playing high school ball.

Nothing prepares you for injuries like this. Today was a scary reminder of how quickly things can change.
Our hearts are with Avah and her family, and we’re thankful she’s home resting.
Thank you to our softball sisters from Mater Dei for bringing us together in prayer.
Moments like these remind us that the game is bigger than competition, it’s about our community, love, and support. 💛🥎
