New River Thunder-Vaughn wins TopGun Winter World Series 2025 in Myrtle Beach, SC for the 3rd year in a row! New River Thunder Softball - Vaughn won today beating 11 other teams. Our team celebrates 6 seniors with many of them continuing on to their Collegiate Softball careers. We are so thankful for these ladies and their commitment to the game. See ya next season!! What an awesome 2024 Travel Season! Our ladies gave their all and finished at the top. Though out the season we finished first in many cases and in the top few for the rest. Coach Bradley, Coach John and Coach Kevin lead us to victory with lots of laughter, strategy and love.

This team is truly a family. We are blessed to have players and families that love the game, love each other and don't do drama. We like to do non-softball events with the girls throughout the season. It makes for a great team. Be sure to follow us for more fun.

Saturday we played in Hickory NC and won the silver bracket! Then, Sunday we celebrated our 3rd Annual New River Thunder Picnic.
